My latest project is PALLET CITY, and interactive sculpture designed and built by me and Katherine Gressel for the FIGMENT Sculpture Terrace on Governors Island in NYC.  FIGMENT is an amazing collection of artists and volunteers that brings art to the people by letting them really interact with it... it includes a sculpture garden (pictured below), a minigolf course, and a living pavilion designed by the AIA's ENYA committee.  Our project, PALLET CITY, is over 150 feet long and made almost entirely of shipping pallets.  Action and activity are encouraged all along this linear city as it reveals one program after another.  It was made possible with the help and hard work of our amazing friends, family, and volunteers.  Experience it all summer on Governors Island, which is just a short ferry ride from the tip of Manhattan (and free!).  The piece will be up through October 4th and constantly evolving.  More images to come...

Under construction...please check back soon for a complete record of my work.  In the meantime, go check out Brooklyn Utopias?, an art exhibition featuring over thirty Brooklyn-based artists and their visions of a utopic Brooklyn.  Curated by Katherine Gressel and exhibition design by Jeremy Reed and et al. collaborative, information for the show can be found at www.brooklynutopias.com.
